Shipping Policy


We work with a shipping partner that fulfills orders from either Los Angeles, CA or Chicago, IL.  When you check out, we provide you with one or more shipping options and delivery timetables:


Standard Shipping (2-6 days)

Standard shipping is typically via USPS or DHLGlobal Mail, and can expect to be delivered in 2-6 business days to destinations in the United States. 


2-Day Shipping

Certain US-based ZIP codes may be presented the additional option of guaranteed 2-day shipping, if the delivery ZIP code is within range of one of our shipping warehouses. To see if your order qualifies for 2-day shipping, enter your shipping ZIP code at checkout. If the option for 2-day shipping is displayed, you may select it.  


International Shipping

Shipping to international destinations is typically via DHL or FedEx. Tracking information may be limited once the parcel leaves the United States. Please allow 7-14 business days for international shipments to arrive.


Processing Time

After your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email, and we will begin processing your order by the next business day. Orders placed before 11AM Central Time will ship the same day. Orders placed after 11AM Central Time normally ship within 24 hours, except during holidays and times of high demand or special circumstances. Once your order ships, you will receive another confirmation email including a tracking number if applicable. If for any reason you have not heard from us, or have any questions, send an email with your order number to orders@standardspoon.com.


Lost / Damaged Shipments

We provide tracking information for all shipment.  We assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, or misplaced packages once they have been delivered at the provided address.  Please ensure that delivery is to a secure destination and parcels are collected immediately to deter theft at their final destination.


If an item in a shipment has been damaged, a postal claim may be filed for damaged goods. Retain all packaging (including shipment box), document damage of both the item and shipment packaging, and provide evidence and description of damage in an email to orders@standardspoon.com.
